A Glow-in-the-Dark pigment that glows a soft blue green.

Glow-in-the-Dark pigments are the basic ingredient for most Glow-in-the-Dark products.

The primary characteristic that differentiates it from other coloured pigments is that the pigment absorbs light energy (sunlight, interior light, etc.) and then slowly releases it as glow.

Use 2 teaspoons of colourant in 500g of soap.

INCI: Zinc sulfide

CP/HP/MP

INCI: Polyester-3- Ultramarine blue.

MP SOAP: Start by mixing 1/4-1/2 tsp per pound of MP base. Adjust as desired.
CP SOAP: Start by mixing 1-2 tsp mica with 1 Tbs vegetable oil per pound of soap at light trace. Adjust as desired.

Description

MICA POWDERS

Mica powders do not “bleed” into one another and do not “migrate” or spread. Widely used in cosmetic products such as make-up, cold process soaps, melt & pour soaps, liquid soaps, shampoos, lotions, creams, scrubs, bath salts, bath fizzies, lotion bars and lip balms (where applicable) as they are lip and skin safe.

Recommended percentages will depend on your desired intensity result.

Cold Process Soap (CP): Start by mixing 1-2 tsp mica powder with 1 Tbs vegetable oil per 500g of soap at light trace and adjust as desired.

Certain colors perform better than others in CP soap, but will require a higher usage amount.

Melt And Pour Soap (MP): Start by mixing 1/4-1/2 tsp per 500g of MP base and adjust as desired. They will not change in Clear MP Soap. They will appear muted/more pastel in White MP Soap due to the Titanium Dioxide whitener.

    The glow in the dark powder is awesome. I’m using it to make bath bombs. the bath bombs glow in the dark and so does the bath water once it has fizzed.
