Water-soluble powder colorants are a perfect way to color bath bombs because they won’t stain your tub. You can dilute the powder into the water or liquid used in your recipe.
These colorants are quite concentrated, so less than 1/2 teaspoon per 500g should give you the desired shade.
Usage
Approx. 4g powder to 1kg bath bomb mix
Description
Overuse will lead to staining. Suggested usage should not exceed a maximum of 1 tsp per 500g of product. Powder colorants and dyes are also affected by UV light, and can yellow and fade.
FD&C Skin Safe dyes for use with water-soluble personal care bases.
COSMETIC/BATH & BODY SAFE: Yes. Lotion, Cream, Shampoo, Conditioner, Liquid Soap, Bubble Bath, Bath Salts, Bath Bombs, etc. Water may tint when used in bath salts or bath bombs.
Not for use in candles or all oil emulsions such as lip balms, body butters, scrubs, etc.
Fragrances can sometimes react w/colorant, so individual testing is recommended.
