Skin Nourishing Body Butter Formula

Now, this is when FORMULATIONS can be so much fun. You can change the ingredients to suit your needs, so if you want a body butter to have a calming and relaxing scent, then you can change the essential oils to lavender or lemongrass. If want a more balancing anti-inflammatory body butter, then Jojoba oil or Argan oil is a good choice. There are a variety of oils and butters and each has special qualities and properties.

It can be difficult to choice which to use. Research and study the ingriedients you would like to use and experiment with SMALL BATCHES to see if it works for you.

In this formulation: the emollient consists of 70% hard butter and 29% oil with 1% Fragrance.

The formulation can have one oil or a combination of oils and one or a combination of hard butters. This is where EXPERIMENTING and RESEARCH come in. Try, Experiment and Play till you find what works for you.

I love this Body Butter, it’s highly nourishing and light. This formula contains rosehip oil that is well known for helping prevent and improve skin imperfections. The Orange and Grapefruit essential oils assist to increase skin elasticity and the Wheatgerm oil is renowned for its ability to protect the skin from aging and loss of firmness.
