LOTION BARS

Lotion Bars are especially moisturizing for the winter, they form a good protective barrier for your skin. If you get cracks on your fingers especially when that cold dry air hits them, then Lotion Bars are a great way to moisturize them. If your feet get dry or if you get cracks in your heels, run the bar on the soles of your feet at bedtime and put on clean socks and you will be amazed how they feel in the morning.

Lotion Bars can also soften cuticles on your hands. But also try this on your dry legs after shaving, apply the lotion bar and see how soft your legs will feel.

You can use these bars anywhere you would normally use a liquid lotion. Try it once and you may never go back!

How do lotion bars work?

They work by rubbing them between your hands (like a bar of soap)….. this transfers the lotion to your hands and then rub the lotion into your dry skin everywhere. The natural warmth from your skin softens and melts the lotion for application.

What is a lotion bar?

lotion bar is a solid block of lotion, used for moisturizing skin as part of your personal care routine. … Basically, lotion bars take the best of natural skin care — gentle, simple ingredients like shea butter and essential oils — and pack them into a small bar, rather than a large plastic bottle.

Are lotion bars sanitary?

Lotion bars have a reputation for being a health-conscious choice because they are free from the potentially hazardous chemicals found in commercial lotion products, such as phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), ethanolamines and petroleum.

Do lotion bars need preservatives?

Because they contain no water, lotion bars do not require any preservatives and are shelf stable for at least 6 months
